About the Speaker
- Rob and Mary Stroud
  
  Rob joined the Downtown Madison Rotary Club in 1980, sponsored by his father. Within his club, Rob has served in numerous capacities, including two terms on the board of directors and club president in 1989-90. Rob and Mary have hosted numerous youth exchange students and GSE team members and all three of their children participated in Rotary Youth Exchange.
  
  Rob held the position of Chairman of the GSE committee for more than twenty years. Rob was the GSE team leader to District 2250 (Norway) in 2004. He served as District Governor in 2012-13. Rob and Mary have attended 4 Rotary International conventions. He is the immediate past chair of Midwest PETS.
  
  Rob and Mary are major donors and benefactors to the Rotary Foundation, members of the Paul Harris Society and Rob is a recipient of Rotary's Service Above Self award and TRF Meritorious Service Award.
  
  Rob began his law practice in 1974. His practice is primarily focused on estate planning and business law. Mary started her career 40 years ago and is now a semi-retired CPA.
  
  Rob referees ice hockey and lacrosse and actively participates in numerous sports. Rob and Mary are both active members of the International Fellowship of Rotarian Scuba Divers.
